To buy items in the new Playfish Cash Store, players must invest real money into purchasing a new Playfish currency called “Playfish Cash.” Playfish cash is different and separate from the Playfish coins we have been playing with since August 2008.
The only way to earn Playfish Cash is buy paying real money. Items purchased from the Playfish Cash store can only be gifted at the point of purchase. This means that players cannot trade the items.
There are some pretty items in the store, and many of them claim to make earning Pet Society coins easier. I’m pretty disappointed, since so many people on the Playfish forums have complained about difficulties in earning coins. Now, instead of just adapting the game, Playfish wants players to pay real money to make earning fake Pet society coins easier. What a Catch-22!
I wish Playfish had stuck to the old in-store advertisements for revenue within the Pet Society interface. This is a screencap I took on January 10, 2009 when a Blockbuster ad was visible for a month in the food store. There was also an ad for flowers in February 2009. These ads were a lot less intrusive.
Does anyone else have an opinion on Pet Society Playfish Cash?
I am so disappointed! I don’t want to buy those items for real money, this sucks. It would be great to have a possibility to earn playfish cash or at least exchange coins for playfish cash, say 1000 coins=1 playfish cash.
I feel the same way Lala. I like your idea of having an exchange rate to convert pet society coins to playfish cash! I hope Playfish does something like this in the future. Otherwise, I’ll have to reconcile myself to never getting any items from the Cash store.

mee chin, you have to pay for the Playfish cash with real money through the machine in the Cash Store. You need to use a credit card, paypal, etc. I am not planning to use the feature, so I can’t tell you more.

I took srveys on trial pay and I was supposed to get 200 because I took so many but instead I got a big fat 0!

I hate those playfish cashes.People show videos on youtube to hack playfish cashes.I personally think it’s no better than normal coin items though.I buy things with normal coins and now hate playfish cash instead of envy people who have it.
i learned from my friend a way to have payfish cash! Go oytside at the lake! Put an apple or something else and .I forgot! it writes some instructions! by the way it doesn´t working and i am poor now!
