New mystery items were released on August 6th. In the expensive gold boxes, two new items were added: a shell picture and a shell tea light. In the purple boxes, there’s a new shell pot.
Pet Society Cherry Trees August 7, 2009
There’s a new type of tree seed in the Pet Society garden store. Among the possibilities when you plant a tree, you can also grow a cherry tree now, along with banana, cupcake, coconut, orange and apple trees. From what I’ve read, the cherry trees have pink leaves.
I planted a couple seeds, and *crossed fingers* I really hope one of them will be a cherry tree. I’ll update this post with a picture as soon as I can. 
Update: One of my two seeds gave me a cherry tree. I’m so happy! The other tree turned out to be an orange tree. 
Here’s a picture of the cherry tree. It’s the pink tree in the middle. I wish my orange and banana tree didn’t overlap with it so much. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could uproot and rearrange the trees?
Before the cherry tree is fully grown, it has green leaves. The young cherry tree has a green, leafy brocoli-like shape and appears identical to the growing orange, apple and cupcake trees.
