Yesterday, Zoe wrote a comment about a new vegetable called petdrake that can be grown from vegetable seeds in our pet’s gardens. Thanks Zoe for the news!
I had planted a few seeds yesterday, and a couple sprouted into petdrakes. Here’s how the petdrake looks:

The Petdrake is based on the mandrake plant, which you can learn more about here.

Pet society girl, new food in cafe is chocolate brownie! check!
Thanks PS Maniac!
Btw, I’ve got a Homegrown Jasmine 2 days ago, is it a new flower?
Hi Ciborg, yes the jasmine is new. It came out last week: http://petsocietyworld.com/2009/08/16/new-pet-society-garden-item-homegrown-jasmine/
cool,…thanks for posting it
I get the Petdrake yesterday!
Cool Alya!
how much does it sell?
For tiny homegrown petdrake, it’s 104 coins!
will the homegrown petdrake grow larger the longer it is grown like other vegetables or it’s only one size?
The petdrake grows bigger just like the other vegetables. I just picked mine early to take a picture. I’m trying to grow a bigger one now.
thanks.. =) it seems to take longer than other vegetables though..
Anvil, I feel that way too, but I think I’m just looking at my veggies multiple times a day, so it seems to be taking 4 times as long!
It’s Funny that a petdrake came out seemingly at the same time as hary potter stuff did, because in herbology class in one of the earlier books the students deal with mandrakes that are actually small plant-people that are difficult to deal with.
Good point Kayla. I think you’re right that the petdrake is based on the mandrake plants in Harry Potter.
Heres an idea/! if someone is obsessed with the harry potter stuff and gets an outfit of harry potter and a room nd all, go get a scar for the forehead in the stylist store!
heehee, cool idea.
