I think there’s going to be some kind of Malaysian theme coming up. 31st August is Malaysia’s Independence Day!

I believe the pink floral dress worn by Malay women is called the ‘baju kurung’.

The one worn by Malay men is also called the baju kurung, but it is often paired with a short sarong tied round the waist (blue in the picture) called a ‘kain samping’. They men also wear a black velvet head-dress known as the ‘songkok’.

EHM, Ramlah thats not JUST Malaysian clothes anyway. thats MELAYU too. i know that Malaysia is melayu ppl.
