New mystery items were released today. I wasn’t having good luck with the fish, so I tried by luck with the mystery boxes instead. I was so excited to find them all. In the expensive gold boxes, two new items were added: a elegant silver jar and a cactus baby (doll). In the purple mystery boxes, the new item is a dainty pink ribbon decor. The best thing is all three of the items have a sell-back price of 999 coins, which is wonderful news if you don’t like an item or get extra and want to sell them.
I also managed to find the lab flasks decor, which I’ve been struggling to find since it was released on August 20th, and I also found my first hibiscus hair pin, which was released on August 28th. Both the lab flasks and hair pin sell back for 333 coins.

Yep, that’s true PSM. Maybe once in a while they forget to price the purple mystery box items as 333 coins. haha, lucky us.

just wondering.. not sure if this Q is proper… but when and how many GMBs do you normally buy? cos it’s really hard for me to get new items.. and there are moments when i get a series (4-5) gmbs of really crappy items.. >.<

There’s a way to get the new items w/o buying a lot of GMBs or BMBs. Buy a mystery box then open it, if you dont like the item, then don’t do or click anything , restart your browser immediately then load the pet soc application again…then send the mystery box to your dummy account. Logon to your dummy account and open the mystery box and again, if you don’t like the item that appeared, don’t do anything and restart your browser. Then, repeat the steps until you get the item that you want. Hope this helps. ^___^ V
Hi pinku, I don’t usually count. Sometimes I am very lucky and don’t have to buy many. Sometimes I buy four at a time and if there is nothing good, I sell them all. It’s been easier now since there is a good chance of getting 999 items, so often by selling, I break even. I don’t actually count them though, so I’m not sure the average number I buy and re-sell until I find them.

The trick of restarting the browser is no longer working!
The trick still works for us. We have a group of friends among whom we do the trick, sending the mystery box around until someone gets something they can make money on or want to keep, then they buy another one and send it around again. We just tried it and it works still.
Now, we don’t actually restart the browser, we just refresh the page, which resets Pet Society. Also, personally, I save right before opening a box after I buy it from the store, just in case.
You all, right ! But somtimes, i just got BLOOMING BUSH with GMB ! RAWR ! , and they sell it on GARDEN. If i sell that bush i will get 99 coins. and i have it already :[ ! poor me…
Yeah, I don’t like getting blooming bushes, and boring wallpapers out of mystery boxes.
