During today’s updates, the pet society kitchen scale was fixed so that it actually weighs items! I decided to buy one and check it out.

New Pet Society Flower: Homegrown Forget-Me-Not September 25, 2009
A new type of flower seed was added to the mix today. Now we have a chance of growing homegrown forget-me-nots! The new flowers look like this:
Momo’s going to plant a few seeds now and hopes to grow one by tomorrow.
New Pet Society Poo Limits September 25, 2009
There are a lot of new updates that came out today, so I’ll try to go through them all one at a time!
Here’s the first update: Because a lot of people received special Pet Society poos through people who cheated, Pet Society is now enforced maximum numbers of special poos.
New maximum number of gold poos = 3
New maximum number of rainbow poos = 1
If you have more poos than the limits, then you’ll receive messages like these:
I’m not a poo collector, so this doesn’t affect me at all. However, I know a lot of people received poos as gifts. I think it’s really unfair for Pet Society to do this when the poos were only hacked because of flaws in their own system. I think they could just enforce the limit for new poos, while leaving the rest out there.

I haven’t grown one yet, but Boo sent me this image of the latest flower that can be grown in our Pet Society gardens. It’s a homegrown orange daylily. Really lovely! Thank you Boo for sending in the image!
New Pet Society Items – September 20th September 21, 2009
The weekly Pet Society items are now in the stores!
In the DIY store, has a new black framed and white framed office windows:
In the clothing shop, there are new pet high school outfits: a pet high uniform dress and shoes for girl pets, and a pet high uniform jacket and trousers for boy pets. There’s an American football helmet, jersey, pants and shoes. Lastly, there’s a red cheerleader dress, ribbon, shoes, and red and yellow pom poms.
The food shop has mac ‘n’ cheese as “this week’s special” and a sandwich.
In the furniture shop, there are lots of pieces to design a high school and college classrooms or a dorm room, including a classroom chalkboard, pink and green school lunch boxes, pet college flag, pink and blue school chairs, a wall wall world map, an American football doll and dorm bunk beds.
In the luxury shop, there’s a gold framed globe, college crest wall decor and champion trophy case.
I don’t think I’ll make a school room, so I may get the girl school uniform and new doll. I like the new foods too. That’s probably it. What do you all think of the new items?

Pet Society Mystery Items – September 18th September 18, 2009
New mystery items were released today. In the expensive gold boxes, two new items were added: a school locker (I found two!) and an armillary sphere decor. Both items sell back for 999 coins. Armillary spheres were used to depict the heavens and the motions of celestial bodies. In the purple mystery boxes, the new item is minifridge, which sells back for 333 coins.
Pet Society Fishing – New Fish Released September 18th (Set 9) September 18, 2009
As many of you already know, there were new fish released in the Pet Society fish pond. I haven’t had a chance to go fishing yet, but I’ve gathered from the comments that these are the new fish:
Regular Fish – can be caught using any type of bait:
Elephantnosefish (I caught mine with a blueberry cupcake, but it can be caught with any type of bait):
Special Fish – These fish can only be caught using special baits:
Birthday Cakefish – may be caught using the 2000 coin birthday cake from the food shop
The birthday cakefish is so expensive, and there’s unfortunately no guarantee that you’ll catch it on your first try. It’s funny that the candle flame doesn’t go out while you’re fishing with the cake, and the fish still has a flame inside the aquarium!
