A chilly autumn has set upon Pet Society. The leaves have fallen from the trees, and the neighborhood is rather spooky.
As Momo bumped into the trees, she came upon some Halloween treats. She six candies so far: a Halloween candy, a gummi eyeball, a tiny candy corn, a gummi ghost, a Halloween candy cane, and a Halloween lolly. If you want to sell them, they sell for 1 coin apiece, and you can recycle each candy for 8 recycling points. You can only carry three of each type of candy if they are candies you found yourself. However, you can you can collect more than three of each type of candy if your friends sent you the candies as gifts. The situation is the same as for the Easter eggs earlier this year. So be sure to share some candies with your friends! And ask your friends to send you candies in return. 
To keep my candy stashes separate, I’m storing the candies I received as gifts in my luminous pumpkin head bucket. Meanwhile, I leave the candies I’ve found from bumping into trees in a different basket so that I can eat them, use them as baits for fishing, or send them as gifts to my friends.
The best part is you can eat the candies. Yum yum yum!

That’s a very good question! I suspect, however, that the answer is no. At least I have tried fishing with some 20 candies and I haven’t had luck catching the JackO’Lantern Fish. I did catch an African Butterflyfish (which I believe Pet Society Girl hasn’t blogged about yet?) so my fish collection is 1 fish short of being complete. Hooray!

I’ve tried fishing a few times with the candies, but I only caught junk so far. Yoda, I thought the African Butterflyfish was a cash fish, and didn’t realize it was a regular fish. I’ll go off and fish for one now.
I’m going to try fishing with the eyeball too.
I decorated the eyeballs in my home.Haha!

Hi Ceres-gal, you can only collect three of each type of candy yourself. However, you can collect more candies (up to 99) if a friend sends you candy. I think the best way to collect a lot of candy is to ask a friend to send you candies in exchange for you sending them candies.

halloween is better than easter! during easter, they onmly gave us egg decors but for halloween, we hav candies! dont u like candies??
u can also put small items into the pumpkin bucket. i got another to store tiny homegrown pumpkins. i caught another jackolanternfish with a pumpkin(store).

Did you have friends send you any? You can collect than three if friends send them to you, but can’t collect and hold more than three from the trees at one time.

Hey, I read your post earlier today and got my cousin to send me her candies in exchange for mine, but now I can’t get any more from the trees!
I made sure the candies I sent were the ones I had gotten myself, have any of you had this problem?
I remember with the Easter eggs I got confused and mixed some of mine up. I don’t know a way around it, unless you gift all the ones you collected from your cousin back to your cousin to make sure none of your candies are mixed in. It’s really sad we can’t distinguish the candies we collect from our gift candies.

wow, you’re lucky. The Playfish Admin people said we could only get three of each (not counting gifts). I haven’t been able to get more than that personally.
well you cant count your fish either i got three drink fish and three slimy fish its really weird why the awesome fishes come to me but if you have alota luck you may have more well last week i kinda got 30 pieces of the gummi eye and 20 pieces of the gummi ghost and when i open the computer the next morning its all gone thats when inotice my pet ate it all cause i saw its health bar and thats what i suspected first though
