Pet Society Snow Globe and Jack in the Box December 13, 2009

The first items I bought this week were the Jack in the box and snow globe from the gadget store.  I was curious about them.

The snowglobe is pretty cute.  Momo gestured at the globe, and even though she never touched it, the globe shook itself up and began snowing.

Momo’s behavior when she touched her Jack in the box was equally bizarre.  She tapped the box and as it began mysteriously winding itself, Momo started giggling to herself.  Then she wandered off before the Jack in the box even popped opened.

New Pet Society Items – December 13th December 13, 2009

The Christmas celebration continues this week in Pet Society.  The stores have even more winter-y and Christmas-y decorations this week.  All of the items labeled “Holiday Special” will be available until December 27th (GMT).

In the garden shop, there’s a section to build your own snowman with snowballs of three sizes and classic snowman decorations.  There’s also a snowman ornaments mystery machine!

Along with the Christmas tree choices from last week, you can now buy pink and white medium holiday trees too.  I’m really happy about the pink tree because I never found one in the mystery boxes when they were out last Christmas, and these new ones are similar.

In the DIY store, there’s  a winter view window, an icicle wall decor, a holiday wrapping wallpaper and floor, and a winter day wallpaper and floor.

In the clothing shop, there’s a holiday reindeer headgear (a colorful version of last year’s antlers), a holiday elf dress with a matching hat, gloves and shoes, a Santa girl dress with matching ribbon, shoes, and gloves, and a classic Santa jacket with a matching beard, hat, shoes and gloves.  Did Playfish forget Santa’s pants?! :o

In the food shop, there’s a chocolate roulade, mini festive cake, and a snowman postcard decor in addition to the foods from last week.

The furniture shop there’s a Santa plushie and an elf plushie.  There’s a pretty new holiday cake rack, a present box decor, and a snowman chair.

In the luxury shop, there’s a winter holiday feast table.  I’m not sure I like these pre-assembled tables.  I’d rather arrange the foods myself.

In the gadget show, there’s a snowman jack in the box, a snow globe and a beautiful holiday chandelier.

What do you think of this week’s items?  I think they are so much fun and quite lovely, but I’m not sure how I’ll ever afford the number of items I want!

I found Hideeni today!  Since Thursday, he’s been giving away a reindeer plushie.

I’m so happy that a friend of mine found Hideeni in Pet Society. Now Momo has an adorable reindeer plushie of her own.

Doesn’t Momo look happy to see me, or is she just happy about the purple gift box?

Here she is with her new plushie:

New Pet Society mystery items were released Friday.

A festive ribbon decor and a holly white candle set were added to the gold boxes, and a snowman carrier decor was added to the purple boxes.  You can see them on Momo’s window and window sill (below).  I’m still searching for the snowman carrier decor..

My Pet Society Festive tree hasn’t produced a single fruit yet.  Since many of us haven’t seen the fruit yet, a player named Matt sent in these pictures of the festive tree with a festive fruit growing on it.  Thanks Matt!

The festive fruit sells for 85 coins.  I can’t wait for my tree to bear some fruit!
