New festive fishes were released in the Pet Society fishing pond today. Both fish are special fish, which can be caught using holiday foods as the baits.
Momo caught a festive cookiefish with a mini festive cake:
There’s also a new festivefish. Momo has been trying unsuccessfully to catch on this evening, but luckily the super fisherman Harrison contributed a picture of it to the Pet Society World Flickr group to share it with all of us. Thanks Harrison!

its not paid bait…. i know cause i have 5 of all the paid fish already, there is snow man fish, santa fish, elf fish, ect. but no regular holiday fish

I’ve gone through 3 mini festive cakes and still no festive fish!
I caught the second fish Harrison shared in this post with mini festive cake. I’ ve tried for 7 times.

According to Harrison’s comment above, yes you can. I haven’t grown a festive fruit yet, so I haven’t been able to try it out yet.

I caught a festive cookiefish after Christmas with a gumdrop, but I’ve never been able to catch a festivefish. Playfish has not announced whether any fish were removed. I’m not sure if they are still there or not though.
How many gumdrops did you use to get that fish? I only need 2 fishes (the festive fishes) to complete my collection @_@
