Surprise Pet Society Gift December 24th/25th December 23, 2009

This morning, the Mayor sent out a letter informing us that we’ll receive a surprise gift for logging in on December 24th or 25th!

When Momo logged into Pet Society tonight, she received this pretty gift.  She looked excited but walked right by it at first.

I convinced her to open it, and inside there was a letter from the Mayor with a Holiday Gift inside.

The snow globe is enormous:

Momo wanted to show off her muscles by carrying the globe around the room.  Heehee!

New Pet Society Fish (Release 20) December 23, 2009

There were special new fish released today in the Pet Society pond.  It’s a cold Icefish, which is attracted to the hot beverages from the Cafe.  I caught one with a mocha. Try using the mocha, cappuccino, espresso and latte from the Cafe as your bait to catch this fish.

Bake a Pet Society Orange Cupcake in Less Time December 23, 2009

The Pet Society orange cupcake used to take a full day of slaving in the kitchen to bake, but with today’s update, it’ll only take you an hour!  Much more realistic.

 

Huge Clearance Sale in Pet Society Stores and Surprise Gift Dec 24th/25th December 23, 2009

If you scroll into just about all of the Pet Society stores today, you’ll notice that many items are 50% off.  There are 100 sale items in all.  After the weekly update rolls around on Monday, all of these items will be gathered in the front of the stores and marked with a clearance signs.  All 100 of these items will be removed from the stores on January 13, 2010.

Here’s the letter from the Mayor, which also informs us all that we’ll receive a surprise gift for logging in on December 24th or 25th!

Playfish has posted that the nine holiday mystery items will be removed from the boxes on January 7th. Do we’ll all have to find them while we can!

More Mystery Items Removed & Other Not-in-store Mystery Items Added December 23, 2009

With today’s update, many low-priced items were removed from the mystery boxes.  The following 18 items were removed from the purple boxes, while 19 items were removed from the gold mystery boxes.  I’m very happy that so many low-priced items are gone, though there still are a lot left in the boxes.  Also, other not-in-store items have been added to both types of boxes, so we’ll have to see whether this is actually an improvement or not!
