As Momo was busy hunting in mystery boxes for new items, I wondered when was the last time Momo bought a cheap (pink/red) mystery box. I couldn’t quite remember. A comment from owee mentioned that cheap mystery boxes should have some new items. I fully agree. Why are the cheap boxes so neglected? They’re really great when you first start the game because they are the most affordable way to get a few furnishings and outfits. Once you’re established in the game though, there’s no point to buying them. Look at Momo, she’s walking right by them as she browses the purple and gold boxes.
The last new items that were added were the colored balloons months and months ago, two of which were removed without warning last July. I think the last time I bought a cheap mystery box was to try to find green balloons last summer before their removal was announced. Lately, Momo and I can’t see any reason to buy them. There’s nothing new or exciting in them that we haven’t seen before.
What do you think? Does your pet buy cheap mystery boxes? Do you think Playfish should add new items to the cheap boxes as they have for the purple and gold mystery boxes?

no, there isn’t any new items on cheap mystery boxes, playfish only gave out about gold and purple mystery boxes….
I dont understand why some items that you find in the other mistery boxes are sold about 49 or 66$ and you cant find them in the 50$ boxes, I think it is not fair.
I mean, of course it is normal to find not so valuable things but when you buy a 200$ box you expect something that worth it…
I think some items must be transfered from the 200$ mistery boxes to the cheaper ones, and let the pets that are starting a chance to get a few good things, because i remember when i only afford to buy the cheap boxes and i always find the same things…
but when you can buy a box that cost 200 or 500 you want to find something good…nor a stupid shirt that you can sell for 66 or 99$…
Sorry, but sometimes i get very angry with the mistery boxes

I agree with you! I don’t think it’s fair to get an item worth only 83 coins resale in the gold boxes. Those items should be in the cheaper boxes instead.

It’s grown randomly from the tree seed so it’s purely by chance but still available. I believe PSG had a post on a glitch on how to improve your chances on growing the tree you want.

About the only time I buy a cheap mystery box for Scoop is to get random inspiration.
It’s really just garbage but you made a good point that it’s only great for beginners because it’s affordable, but as you get more involved with pet society you tend to want the more expensive items which the rmb’s don’t have. Just like in real life.

Pet society girl, when will Playfish allow us to remove the ornaments from our inbox? They take up almost 3 whole pages, and I don’t even find them that pretty.
It seems we can’t get rid of the ornaments. The best option is to hide them behind furniture in your house so that you don’t have to scroll through all the ornaments.

why doesnt playfish releases items of other countries, lyk playfish ne’er releases items from my country (pakistan) i think they should do so bcuz i lrn very much about other countries
I don’t know Owee, maybe they will make Pakistani items this year. So far there was only the one sari in the stores, but now that it on clearance. I guess the samosa can be considered a Pakistani food too, but it’s also a snack in other countries. I hope Pet Society has a Pakistan-theme next year.
They are so being neglected! The only time when Coconut buys the poor small little things is when she has like 1,000 and wants to recycle! That’s pretty much it.
