A Playfish Admin made an announcement today that mystery items will be regularly removed every week starting this week. Players may sometimes receive an early, warning messages about what will be removed; however, in the long run we’re only going to be told what items were removed when the new mystery items are added each week. The Admin said “they aren’t called “mystery boxes” without reason 
.”
The items that are being removed this week are the following:
Purple mystery boxes: Elegant Bamboo
Gold mystery boxes: Pink Mini Bubble Chair, Ornate Framed Folding Screen
I think this will make finding mystery items a lot more stressful, since we never know when an item will be removed, and sometimes will not be informed until it’s too late. To me, the “mystery” in mystery boxes is not knowing what you’ll get when you open a box. Personally, I don’t think there’s any reason to create an additional “mystery” (really confusion) by removing items without notices.
