There’s a new special fish in the Pet Society fish pond. It’s a breadfish, and it can be caught with the small loaf of bread from the food shop.
Momo just caught one! She likes it and thinks it’s funny looking?

Pet Society has a French cafe theme this week.
In the garden shop, there’s a blue flower box as “this week’s special.” The “just arrived” items include a hydrangea wall hanger, white flower box, and wooden garden fence.
In the DIY store, “this week’s specials” include a white arch window, white cafe door, white cafe shelf, pink tiles floor, blue cafe wallpaper, pink cafe wallpaper, and pink cafe canopy.
The “just arrived” items include a pink coral shelf, wooden arch window, pink ribbon window, wooden cafe door, wooden cafe shelf, black tiles floor, and blue cafe canopy.
In the clothing shop, the “this week’s specials” are a pink polka dots dress, shoes with pink socks, pink maid dress, and maid shoes. The “just arrived” items include a candy hairclip, ‘I Heart Candies’ dress, red polka dots dress, shoes with red socks, a chef hat, coat and pants, and an orange diving mask, top, pants, and fins.
In the food shop, “this week’s special” is a cute vanilla cake. The “just arrived” items include a chicken sandwich, small loaf of bread, and a cherry pie.
In the furniture store, “this week’s specials” include a baguettes basket decor, pink cafe sofa and chair, pet chef wall sticker, Eiffel Tower wall picture, and a red menu chalkboard.
The “just arrived” items include a submarine toy decor (that says it will float freely around the room), a diver bear plushie, cute bear plushie, white cafe sofa, white elegant display, white cafe chair, wooden cafe table, and pink tea box decor.
Along with all the above items, the furniture store also has a blue cake rack, a wooden chest of drawers and matching shelf unit, a set of stickers to attach to the chalkboard menus (blue cupcake, cherry pie, baguette, donut, bread, and croissant chalkboard stickers), brown menu chalkboard, and a wall menu chalkboard.
In the luxury shop, the “just arrived” items are a cute chocolate fountain, wooden cafe counter, and garden view window.
In the gadget shop, there’s a cash register and an art deco table lamp.

Here are some sightings of upcoming clothes I saw in the stadium today. I’m just making up my own names for the items because I’m not sure of their official names. There may be more new clothes on the way, but I got tired while hunting these up! Hope you enjoy seeing them.

Which of the upcoming items are your favorites?
The long-awaited Valentine Heartfish was finally released into the Pet Society pond today. There was a lot of confusion surrounding the release of this fish. Playfish initially announced it was released Feb. 2nd, then after no players could catch it, Playfish said that the Valentine Heartfish had not been released and would not be released in the near future. Now, 23 days after the original announcement, Playfish has announced that the Valentine Heartfish can truly be caught from the pond. It’s taken a long time, but Playfish finally has sorted out the problem. I guess it’s better late then never.
The Valentine Heartfish is a special fish. To catch it, you will need to use the homegrown love cherries, which grow on the love tree, as your bait.
Momo just caught one! I’m so glad it’s finally in the pond.

New new mystery items came out today. In the gold mystery boxes, there’s a Mayor Chef Plushie and Tea Tray. In the purple mystery boxes, there’s a Hydrangea Pot.

I’ve been watching the Vancouver Olympics during all my time off. Have any of your seen the Vancouver 2010 Mascot site? It’s so cute and has adorable games featuring the mascots: Sumi, Miga, and Quatchi. Their friend MukMuk keeps the mascots company online. Momo would really like to meet them all.
Since I’m so obsessed with the Olympics, I was hoping there would be more items in Pet Society. The figure skating dress is cute, and we have ski outfits a few weeks ago, but I’d love to see a hockey outfit, bobsleds, and a Vancouver window view.
Are you hoping for additional Olympic items?
When the heart cactus and red roses were introduced to the Pet Society garden shop, they were placed under two signs: a “holiday special” banner and a “just arrived” sign. Here’s my screencap from Feb. 7th right after the items appeared in the garden shop.
Confusing, isn’t it? There was no way of knowing which sign was right, so I assumed that Playfish would leave both items in the game because the confusion was clearly their fault.
Last week, the red roses disappeared from the shops, but the cactus stuck around. Then yesterday the heart cactus vanished from the garden shop too. Now, I don’t know what’s going on. If anything, I thought Playfish would be bringing the red roses back, not taking the heart cactus away too.
Meanwhile, the luminous pink heart string was also introduced under a “Just arrived!” sign on February 7th. This item was removed with the Valentine’s Day items last week incorrectly, and was brought back to correct the error this week.
It’s a shame when labeling mishaps end up punishing players. I hope both the heart cactus and red roses return.

In the DIY store, “this week’s special” is a saloon door. The “just arrived” items include a saloon wooden fence, shelf, and window, along with a wooden saloon wallpaper and floor.
In the clothing shop, “this week’s specials” are a golden Carnival headdress, white Carnival mask, and a cute cowgirl hat, dress, and boot set. The “just arrived” items include a pink cowgirl hat, dress, and boot set and a brown cowboy hat, shirt, pant, and boot set. (The last pair of boots is black and not brown. haha)
In the food shop, “this week’s specials” is cowboy nachos. There’s also cactus juice for sale.
In the furniture store, “this week’s specials” include Olympic items: a winner shirt, Olympic torch, and an ice skater dress and poster. There are also a sheriff badge decor, “sheriff office” decor, saloon sofa, cowboy lasso, pink wooden bench, and blue wooden mirror.
The last of the “week’s specials” in the furniture store is a wooden trough. The “just arrived” items include a saloon wall unit, table, and chair, a wooden barrel, and a country horse plushie.
In the luxury shop, “this week’s specials” are a red stagecoach decor (actually, it’s pink!) and cute rocking horse, and the “just arrived” item is a wooden rocking horse.
There’s a new mystery egg machine in the mystery shop. It’s a “stone age” machine.
In the gadget shop, there’s a saloon chandelier and countdown clock. Also, Playfish has returned the luminous pink heart string is back in the gadget shop. It was a “just arrived” item that was somehow removed with all of the Valentine’s items last week.

There’s a new regular fish in the Pet Society fish pond. It’s a cactusfish, and it can be caught with any type of bait.
Momo just caught one! Isn’t it cute? While fishing for the cactusfish, I finally caught my first green neon tetra. Yay! Great day for fishing.
