Homegrown Bleeding Heart Glitch February 1, 2010

Momo planted two bleeding heart seeds in her garden yesterday.  They grew into pretty flowers tonight.

Unfortunately, when I pulled the flowers out the ground, they turned into waratahs.

I hope Pet Society fixes this glitch soon.  It seems like everyone is having the same problem. :( I think they are so pretty in real life.  Here’s a photo I took of bleeding hearts last year. :D

Update: From what a Playfish Admin said Feb. 1st, it doesn’t look like this glitch will be fixed for players who experienced it. This is what she said: “I just double checked on this, and it is fixed for new flowers being planted. If there are some that were planted earlier and are still now coming up wrong, there isn’t much we can do. Sorry! ” It seems like everyone who planted before the error was reported and fixed are stuck with the waratahs, and lost a load of coins as a consequence.  How disappointing.

The new seeds are fine, and they do produce bleeding heart flowers that sell for 208 coins.  Unfortunately, the resale price doesn’t match the cost of the seeds.

    • Pet Society Girl Says:

Hi Joshua, you’re lucky. The seeds bought early on all grew into waratahs, and Playfish doesn’t seem to have any plan to fix it. :(

Do you have any pictures of the tree? I just bought one and I wanna see how it looks like.

  10. Lena Says:

mine still came out as a waratah… :/

  11. Has Pet Society fixed the Bleeding Heart flower problem?

    • Pet Society Girl Says:

The problem is fixed for all new seeds, but they aren’t going to do anything about the bleeding heart seeds that turned into waratahs before they fixed the problem. :(

  12. Cathy Says:

OK… I’ve recently bought a St. Valentine’s tree, but… it doesn’t give any kind of fruits.
Is this a common problem? or I’m the only one?

    • Pet Society Girl Says:

Mine hasn’t produced any fruit either. The trees seem to take there time, so it’s not just you. We just have to be patient.

  13. Cc Says:

    Dear Pet Society Girl,
Do the bleeding heart seed still turn into waratahs now?

  14. Eve Says:

can anyone tell me how much the blleding hearts sell for? Are they worth more because they cost more or are they the usual 208-230?

    • Pet Society Girl Says:

Eve, they sell for 208 coins. I wish they sold for more considering the price. I updated the post above with the resale price.
