Thanks to all those who commented that they found new items in the fishing pond, which were released yesterday in Pet Society.
There are two new decor items that can be caught with any type of bait:
Pink Diamond
Heart Locker

Updated (February 10th) to add pictures of the two new decor items in the pond. Momo caught both the heart locker and pink diamond with onions, but any baits can be used to catch them.
There’s also supposed to be a new free fish (the Valentine Heartfish), but I’m not sure what to use to catch it. Does anyone know?
(Updated February 13th – In spite of Playfish’s announcement that a “Valentine Heartfish” was released in their official blog, this fish was never released, so don’t waste any Valentine’s foods to catch it. For details, click here.)

I think the free fish is supposed to be the Valentine Heartfish.
I’ve bought a dozen Cupid Icecream and Cherry Icecream each and caught nothing but old fishes even with the pro hat and vest.
I’ll try again later.
I wonder if we need the fruit from the new tree to catch the Valentine Heartfish? I don’t think anyone has caught it yet.
Those items from the pond are also limited edition. They will be gone on February 14, 12 GMT

It’s funny how when i used the new cupid ice-cream as a bait, it made HUGE splashes! xD
I tried it once too, and the huge splashes made it hard for me to concentrate. heehee

Hi nati, the site I use it called the Pet Society Database, and they have a great search feature. It is run by players too, and its regularly updated. Here’s a link to it: http://www.kogaweb.net/index.php?link=search
To see all the mystery items, under the choice for “mysterious” choose “yes,” and then click “search” and you will see all the current mystery items.
I love the diamond and the heartlocker. They glow!! Now Im off to catch the Valentine Heart fish. I’m pretty sure you can catch it with either of the new Valentines foods.

do you know if the diamond and locket are considered ‘trash’, as in you can’t catch it if your wearing the hat?
I didn’t know that. I don’t have a hat, so that won’t be a problem for me.
Yes they are considered trash. If you have the pro fishing set just wear the glove and the vest. I have a hat and I couldn’t catch zip, when I took it off I caught three diamonds in a row. Hope that helps.
Hello all,
I caught the Pink Heartfish as well as the Pink Diamond with the Snack Roll. I had used 6 (in an attempt to obtain the Kangaroofish) and caught them on the 4th and 6th attempt.

I caught the pink diamond today and decided to publish it to my facebook, but when I did the game froze and I had to reset, which meant I lost the pink diamond. I fished some more, but I haven’t found it again yet.
