Today, I fed my petling Lucky for the fourth time, and received the news that he was all grown up. Now Lucky’s no longer a pup; he’s a dog.
Here he is standing next to the owl that served as his measuring post as he grew up. He’s taller than it now.
I learned that my doggy could be sold for 399 coins (I’m not selling him), and he can’t be recycled or gifted.
Then Momo decided to add to her family and buy a kitten at the store.
I lost my internet connection after I fed her, and never got to name her, so her official name is “kitten. ” I unofficially named her Shady.
The funny thing is that Lucky and Shady have matching coats, collars and eyes. They seem to be getting along already. 
Are any of you planning to buy a second petling? If so, what kind of pet did you end up with?

My dog, Bleu, is all grown up now.
He’s blue. I got a kitten petling and she is chocolate brown in colour. I named her Kairi. I hope PS updates us more with different petlings in the future.

I’ve got a white cat named Lola!!! she’s really really cute!! and I recently adopted a puppy… and he’s WHITE AS WELL!!!! XD I named him “arnoldo” haha. it’s so cool cause my pet:” Punk”, is white too! so it’s like the white family :p

Your petlings are so cute! I’ve got a pink kitten with blue eyes and a pink collar. She looks like your kitten with the fluffy tail but she doesn’t have a furry face. I wonder how many different breeds of puppies and kittens there are? I’ve seen puppies with floppy ears, terrier-like ears etc. They’re all so cute!
My friends have blue, pink, brown and cream coloured petlings. Wonder how many colours there are altogether?
I’m not sure how many types of petlings are possible. Maybe if more people post pictures, we can figure it out.

Right now im just playing with Pinkosz and Milli, and can not see the cupid ice cream anymore.
I saw Milli’s face, when i loaded the game, iIt was weird, and in the little bubble was a picture about the cupid ice cream with a red traverse.
It happened before her feeding, unfortunately i couldnt make a print screen about that.

i think the color of ur pet is depends on the color of the room u put them in for the first time. i put my dog in last year’s gingerbread room and i got a brown one. my sister puts her kitten in her pink valentine room and got a pink one.

I fed my kitten in a room with the shamrock wallpaper, which is cream and green, and got a blue cat. I think the color is random.
I fed my puppy in a dark blue room and it’s pink so I agree with Kristyn that it’s random. You just had coincidences lol

Btw, Hideeni is back with a cute Valentine outfit. There are 12 different coloured roses to collect. I’ve got one purple long stemmed rose so far. Anyone else?

I read that you have to feed it every 3 days even after it’s fully grown, or it will run away. If it runs away, you can pay to retrieve it.

Hi there. I have a petling question……I fed my petling a sushi today, he ate it and then grunted, gave my pet a dirty look and then had a picture of a sushi with a line drawn through it. can you only feed it the food that it has in the bubble above the head? thanks so much
Yes, it seems that way kahlua. My pets are doing the same thing. Even though they eat any foods, they are only satisfied with what is shown in the bubble.

Upon the fourth feeding, your petling will be fully grown.
i found a way to keep my petlings from running away. i put them into my inventory before i log off and take them out when i log in, and feed them. maybe you could try it!
the max dogs and cat u can buy is 5, i bought 5 and want to buy and the shop owner said u have enough cats and dogs

Okay, so my first dog was all grown up (I bought him the first day the dogs came out) and when I checked on my dog today, it was REALLY tiny…..Do you think it’s a glitch or it’s supposed to happen? I hope you could help.
one of mine is tiny too but the others are normal size. I was wondering the same thing. Lets compare pets…maybe it’s the specific pet getting tiny. Mine is a brown cat with white and a fluffy brown tail. What’s yours? : )
This glitch has happened to others and Playfish is aware of it, so hopefully it will be fixed soon!
