My pet society trees are producing fruit like factories today. If I log out of the game and log in again few minutes later, then there are more fruit on my trees. Momo’s harvested something like 20 fruit over the course of the day. Go check your trees, save and log out and log in again, and see if the situation is the same for you and your pet. 
I hope the trees stay like this forever!!
Look at all the coconuts I plucked from this one tree today! The basket is full and the tree is laden with coconuts again.
Update – February 5th – Unfortunately the super fruity trees went back to their usual bare minimum production now. 
yes, it happens to me too, my trees are producing lots and lots of fruit
i’m so happy. so now i’ll just have to wait for my new tree to grow to see what the new love fruit is 
my friend’s trees are producing but mine aren’t too much lol. oh well.
nvm mine are producing more too. hope it stays this way lol

I have 9 trees and I’m lucky if I get 2-3 fruit per day, and that’s out of all 9. What gives? Why don’t my trees produce?
That’s how it is normally for me too, but something’s changed today. If you log in, save and refresh, then any tree that has a fruit on it will grow a second fruit. Try it!

You’re welcome! Yes, the same trees keep producing fruits for me too. I have one tree that was bare earlier tonight that is now producing fruits too. So, once in a while they seem to switch, but very rarely.
I’m having a similar situation with my chestnut tree. It’s going crazy! None of my other trees are behaving this way though…

my apple tree is growing one fruit every time i reload haha! valentine’s tree hasn’t started producing at all yet D: i’m still kinda new to this… actually only started playing because my stepmom-in-law-to-be plays it XD but i’m glad i stumbled across this blog

Everytime i reload it i get 1 fruit from the coconut,apple,orange,cupcake,and pinecone trees!They are working like someone magically put super fertilizer on the trees!

Thanks for posting this. I have a lot of trees but they don’t produce very often until tonight. I spent a couple hours (I had nothing better to do) collecting Hideeni roses and harvesting my trees.
I made 15,745 coins tonight just selling my fruit!!!
I told myself to stop after I get 47 of each fruit (because I wanted to get to at least 3,000 coins per type of fruit). I am taking a break now but it’s so tempting to keep going because I can get so many coins! I finally can buy all the Valentine stuff I want.

I wish I had stayed up too and taken advantage of the glitch but we all need to sleep sometime! Can’t be too greedy but a part of me can’t help but wonder how rich I would be if I had stayed up…

This has got to be a glitch. They wouldn’t make our trees do this on purpose because then they wouldn’t make money off of the tree fairy.

Well the thing thats bad for me,i finally realized the glitch yesterday but it was so late so i had to go to sleep.I only had about 20 minutes of the whole glitch…
two of my trees produced almost 50 fruits each, when I reloaded but now they’ve stopped!!! I’m so sad! My other trees haven’t produced yet.
I’m sad they stopped too.

YAY! that happened to me too. when I first noticed it I had 4! fruits on the apple, coconut, orange and cupcake trees! I did a print screen but my pc crashed before I saved it. Dangit! I couldn’t believe it. I harvested a lot that day. My hubby’s pet however, did not get this glitch. Funny.

Yes, we have to feed them once every 3 days to keep them from running away. If they run away, we have to spend coins to recover them. I’m not sure of all the details yet.
