The new Pet Society items have also been added in the stores. There are lots of “Easter Special” items, which will be available in the stores until midnight April 11th GMT.
In the garden shop, the “Easter Special” items include an Easter egg tree seed, which can grow into three types of trees. There are also pink and blue egg greenhouses. If you buy an egg greenhouse, then you will receive a new spring flower each day from March 22 to 28th by clicking the greenhouse each day.

In the furniture store, the “Easter Specials” include the cabinet from last week, along with an Easter egg mystery egg machine, which is also available in the mystery store. Inside the mystery eggs are decorations for the milk chocolate, pink, and white chocolate basic egg. You can place the eggs on blue, golden, and pink egg holders. The pink and blue egg greenhouses from the garden shop picture above are also for sale in the furniture shop.

What do you think of this week’s items? Which ones are your favorites?
I like the plushie, hot cross buns, and the surprise eggs. The dresses are pretty too! There doesn’t seem to be much on sale for boy pets this week at all.
I was curious whether people preferred the old or the new pianos in Pet Society.
Here’s a picture of Momo standing by the old “Piano,” which used to be in the gold mystery boxes. It’s been removed now, and it’s no longer available. It’s very stately and grand looking. My one problem with it was that Pet Society hadn’t released a suitable stool to go with it. I used to use the wooden stool, which sort of matched he piano in color, but it didn’t match well in terms of style. I think the recently released country wooden seat looks nice with the old piano (though it’s a little lighter). I’m glad there’s finally a suitable looking stool for it!

Pet Society new “Elegant Wooden Piano” was released two weeks back. I bought one thinking it would play music, but it actually just acts as a chair. Your pet will sit on the stool if you click the piano, and the whole piano bounces just like the other chairs do. The new piano is a lot smaller looking than the old one, but it has a matching stool, which is nice.

It’s a bit disappointing that neither piano plays music. Overall, I prefer the older one, which looks grander to me.

Four new new mystery items came out today. In the gold mystery boxes, there’s an Easter Egg Headgear and a Pink Bunny Headband. In the purple mystery boxes, there’s a Yellow Toy Duck. In the red mystery boxes, there’s an Egg Wall Decor.
Momo’s only found the Easter Egg Headgear so far. She looks a bit like she just had a tooth pulled when she’s wearing it.

Have fun searching for the new mystery items!
The Mayor of Pet Society sent out a letter about the recent changes in Pet Society.

On the left side of the screen, there’s a new “free gift” button. Just when I thought the Pet Society screen clutter was gone, they added more! UGH!

When you click the free gift icon, you have the option to send a number of free gifts to your friends, including a red panda plushie, a pink gift basket (looks an awful lot like the shower basket decor in the gold mystery boxes), a pink ribbon egg, a white ribbon egg, a daffodils bouquet and a blue robin plushie (a strange cousin of the robin plushie in the gold boxes). Once you select a gift, you can send them to a variable number of friends. The feature is similar to the stickers feature and sends your friends a “gift request” outside of the game. If you receive a gift from a friend, then you’ll get a out-of-game facebook notification. Once you accept the gift request, you’ll find your gift in your pet’s house.

Another minor change today is that the hug and fight icons for friend visits have switched positions.

There’s also a new Easter gift wrapping choice for when you send gifts to your friends.

One weird thing that happened to me (along with others who mentioned this glitch in the comments) is that my Pet Society tutorial told me it was not complete, so I finished the tutorial again, and then I received a second identical pet graduate doll.

What do you think of the new changes? Do you like the new free gifts?
Go outside and smell the almost spring air in Pet Society (from the inside of your house, click the door in the lower left corner, then click on “visit friends”). If you bump into the trees, then you’ll find some special surprises. Hidden in the trees are four types of Easter eggs: the aquamarine egg decor, pink egg decor, light purple egg decor, and green egg decor. You can collect three of each type of egg yourself, but you can collect more eggs if your friends give them to you. If you want to sell the eggs, they sell for 2 coin apiece, and you can recycle each egg for 18 recycling points.

Momo compared the eggs from this year with the ones from last year and noticed they had the same designs, but different colors.

Which eggs do you think are prettier?
Are you ready for an Easter egg hunt?
Is your pet wearing green today?
Momo’s wearing the new cute green dress from the store with the gold and green shoes. She accessorized with lucky green ribbon that was sold in the stores last year.

Yesterday the clover seed was added to the Pet Society garden shop as “this week’s special.” It’s just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The seed’s sign asks “Are you lucky enough to find a four-leafed clover?” Most of the seeds grow three-leafed shamrock flowers, but if you’re lucky you may grow four-leafed clovers.

Each seed costs 800 coins.

Momo planted a few seeds yesterday, and today she found a homgrown clover flower (left) and a homegrown shamrock flower (right) in her garden.

Although the seed sells for 800 coins, both types of flowers only sell for 208 coins. I’d like to grow more of them, but they are so expensive, and they sell for a loss.
There’s a new special fish in the Pet Society fish pond. It’s a shamrockfish, and it can be caught with the shamrock cupcake and shamrock drink that are available in the food store as “this week’s special” items.
Momo just caught one after fishing with four shamrock cupcakes. This fish is huge! Have you and your pet caught one?

The mayor has given all Pet Society players a Haiti poster for sending in contributions for Earthquake relief in Haiti.

The new Pet Society items have also been added in the stores. There are lots of new items for St. Patrick’s Day.
In the garden shop, there’s a new message about making bonsai trees by uprooting trees in your garden. To make a bonsai, you must pay 7 playfish cash coins. “This week’s specials” are clover seeds, which can grow shamrocks or, if you’re lucky, four-leafed clovers. There’s also a pink greenhouse and a large pink greenhouse.

The “just arrived” items are a magic mushroom circle, a crystal greenhouse, and a large crystal greenhouse.

In the luxury shop, “this week’s specials” are golden harp, emerald green cushioned couch, and golden pot.

The “just arrived” item are a wooden harp and pink flower seat.

There’s also an enormous clearance sale going on in the luxury store with an array of items at 50% off the original price.
In the furniture store, the “Easter Special” (on sale until April 11th GMT) is an Easter egg cabinet (only 200 coins!). “This week’s special” items are an emerald green bed, dressing table, sofa, stool, dining table, chair, side table, coffee table, and wardrobe. There are Leprechaun and Leprechaun’s wife plushies and a green shamrock cushion.

The “just arrived” clothing items include a cute green ribbon hat, dress and shoes, a cute flower hairclip, cute blossom dress, and cute blossom shoes. There’s also a braided wig.

In the DIY store, “this week’s special” are striped shamrock wallpaper and an emerald green shelf. The “just arrived” items include an oak tree window, door, shelf, wallpaper, and floor. There’s a magic forest at night wallpaper and floor set and a light blue curtain.

In the gadget shop, there’s a campanula lamp.

What do you think of this week’s items? Which ones are your favorites?
I like the oak tree furniture, the shamrock foods, and the new shoes. I like a lot of other items too!
