Here’s a tip so your pet can get the vacation he or she is dreaming of in Pet Society.

If you buy the ticket yourself, then you have a random chance of going on a Safari, an Arabian Nights Vacation, or a Cruise.  It would be awful to spend 6500 coins to get a vacation your pet doesn’t even want!

To be sure that you and your pet get the vacation you prefer, you and a trustworthy friend will both need to have enough coins to buy a ticket.  You’ll buy your friend’s vacation as a gift, and your friend will buy your vacation.  Be sure to choose a trustworthy friend and tell each other which vacations you want!

To gift a vacation ticket to your friend, click “Buy as gift.”

The window that appears next will tell you which vacation you’re sending.  Here, Momo could send her friend an Arabian Nights Vacation.  If you don’t see the vacation your friend wants on the first try, then click the red “X” and repeat the process until you find the vacation your friend wants. Your friend will have to follow the same steps to send you your dream vacation!

Edited to add: a few comments have mentioned that they aren’t able to find the vacation items in their inventories after receiving the ticket.  Here’s how you access the vacation items.  After receiving the vacation package, you’ll only have the ticket in your chest.  The tickets are called the “Safari Vacation Package,” “Arabian Nights Vacation Package” or “Cruise Vacation Package.”  Drag the ticket out of your inventory chest and click it (as you would a mystery box) to open the vacation package and receive all of the included items.

Updated May 5th: Playfish changed the message so you can’t tell which vacation package you’re sending. This tip will no longer work.

The new Pet Society items were added to the stores today. They have a Sleeping Beauty theme.

In the garden shop, there’s a picture of a new collaborative item that isn’t activated yet. There’s a rose briar arch as “this week’s special”

The “just arrived” items are an enchanted cherry tree seed and a rose briar bush.

There’s also an enchanted lamp post and an iron lamp post.

In the furniture store, “this week’s specials” include a wooden spindle, enchanted sofa, shelf, table, chair, and stool.

The “just arrived” items include a gifted virtues columnade, the book of wit, mirror of virtue, and lyre of musical talent.

The “just arrived” items also include a purple regal sofa and chair, and a regal shelf, table, and stool.

Also in furniture, the “this week’s specials” include an enchanted bed, dressing table and chest.

The “just arrived” items include a regal bed, dressing table and chest.

In the market, the “just arrived” item is a regal mayor plushie.

In the food shop, the “just arrived” item is a rose princess cake.

In the clothing shop girl’s section, “this week’s specials” are a good fairy dress and shoes, precious pink tiara and a short princess wig. The “just arrived” items are a long princess wig, shiny pink princess dress and shoes, and a precious silver tiara.

In the boys’ section, there’s a blue prince shirt and shoes as the “just arrived” items. There’s also a note that a surprise will be in the clothing shop tomorrow.

In the DIY store, “this week’s special” is a dawn view tower wall and blue stone tower flooring. The  “just arrived” items are a sunset view tower wall, dawn view pink tower wall and dark stone tower flooring.

“This week’s specials” also include a dawn view tower window and sleeping princess stained glass window. The “just arrived” items include a tower door, velvet drape, sunset view tower window, dawn view pink tower window, and sleeping princess pink stained glass window.

“This week’s specials” also include an enchanted wall candle and floor candlestick. The “just arrived” items include a regal wall candle and floor candlestick.

My favorite item this week is the briar arch. So pretty!
