There were lots of updates in Pet Society yesterday. I haven’t had time to play much, so I’ll just post the highlights here!
“New” Labels: After getting a new item, the item will have a “new” label above it and appear at the start of your clothing/inventory chest. This should make it easier to find new mystery items, since the new way of opening them doesn’t show the item names. Newly harvested garden produce also have “new” labels.
The new feature made it a lot easier to sell back all the crummy duplicate items I got after buying a bunch of mystery boxes.
The Free Gift, Share Email” and Collaborative Item icons are combined into an expandable navigation tab. It reduces the clutter on the screen a bit.
Speaking of free gifts, the latest gift is a strawberry cream cake. Hideeni was a bit disappointed that Momo refused to share hers.
The weekly digging item in the “Town Forest” is a Fast Food Meal. What a strange archaeological find!
The new mystery items are out, but Momo hasn’t found any of them! In the gold mystery boxes, there’s a pair of Pink Headphones and an Orange Juice Machine. In the purple mystery boxes, there’s a Pet Chef Picture. Lastly, in the red boxes, there’s a Sauces Set.

Speaking about MB, I succeed in getting the 2 new items ! It seems like they had rectified the mystery box probabilities. What a good news !
We can finally return to our dear MB and win a few bucks!
I’m so glad! I still had bad luck yesterday, but I’ll try to buy a few tonight. Hopefully I’ll find something new.

To tell the truth, I am afraid of digging now since I see many people on the fprum saying that they got banned after finding weekly items twice or finding 4 items without any miss. Everyone can get lucky, so I think pet society should make a new sytem, like add GMs.
Also, the new weekly item is a bit… weird. How can you find a buried meal?

I never read about that! It’s horrible that people are getting banned for good luck. Yesterday I found three purple mushrooms in one session…wish I’d found the weekly item instead!

I definitely like the “new item” update; I too can never remember all the items I get and often pass over duplicates without meaning too.
I’m not a fan of the combined free gift/e-mail/collab item thing, but I don’t mind it.
The free gift is cute. <3 I was surprised how many hunger points it has. I found the pink headphones and sauces in about five boxes each, which were the items I wanted; not sure if that's good luck or they fixed the chances on the boxes, but it's definitely better than the 50+ boxes I bought to get the last Mystery Box items.
Is the weekly treasure item edible?
I like the free gift too! I’m glad you thin the chances of finding mystery items are improved. Maybe I’ll give mystery box hunting another go.
The fast food meal is for decor and it isn’t edible.
