This week’s Pet Society items have a fairy tale theme.
In the outdoor shop, the new collaborative item is a regal garden dome.
There’s also an regal garden stone fountain, which is so enormous that I think it might almost take up a whole room!
In the furniture store, the “one week only” items are the frog prince pink armchair and table. The “just arrived” items are the frog prince dark armchair and table, and the frog prince blue armchair and table.
In the bedroom section, the “one week only” items are the princess and the pea bed and the frog prince pink bed. The “just arrived” items are the frog prince blue bed and frog prince dark bed.
In the market, a new limited item will be released tomorrow that sells for coins. It’ll be a Princess Merry-Go-Round. There’s a frog prince plushie available as the “one week only” item. So cute!!
In the food shop, the “just arrived” item is a blackberry cake.
In the clothing shop girl’s section, the “just arrived” items are a blue party dress and blue party shoes. (Don’t they look familiar?)
In the boys’ section, yet again, there’s nothing new. 
In the DIY store, the “one week only” items are the sweet dreams pink floor and the regal palace wallpaper. The “just arrived” items are the sweet dreams blue floor, sweet dreams wallpaper, gothic palace carpet, and gothic palace wallpaper.
There’s a regal garden view window.
For “one week only” you can buy a regal palace pink chandelier, and the “just arrived” item is a regal palace blue chandelier.
I try to ignore Playfish cash items, but it’s virtually impossible this week. There are more cash items than coin items. I’ve been feeling like there isn’t room in the game for coin players lately.
It’s also sad that many of the coin items are duplicate items with different colors (i.e., three versions of the frog prince furniture), or recolored, recycled versions of old items, i.e. the carpets (recolored copies of the old retro cream and red carpets, and the golden ballroom carpet). The blue party dress is a recolored copy of the chic party dress from earlier this year. The blue party dress is also very similar to the blue ribbon dress. Momo has way too many dresses that same bright blue color. Along with the blue party dress, there’s the Alice dress, Marie Antoinette blue dress, blue princess dress, brown and blue dress, prom queen blue dress, and probably more that I’ve missed mentioning. I wish that there was something special to wear for girl and boy pets who use coins this week, which didn’t look like a hand-me-down.
My favorite items are the princess and the pea bed and the frog prince plushie. I’m looking forward to the merry-go-round tomorrow! The new wallpapers look nice too.

i actually bought the dress. i wore it with black trousers, the black bere , the long blue mermaid wig and the jubble ring, and it looks cute!
it sounds cute, I mean the dress is nice, it just isn´t what I expected
the gothic wallpaper is my fave!! I love it so much it looks great with the city lights window

i am really pissed that i bought the stupid fairy tale bundle and got stuck with the prince outfit. I have a female pet =( and the blue dress? already had the older version with the fluffier white bow. i think most of the furniture is whatever. the frog bed is just a wider version of the chair!
the staff at pet society is just getting lazier and greedier.
the thing that makes me go loco is the fact that the new mystery box is so amazing
i’m really disappointed with pet society this week. they always seem to only have a few items that are for playfish cash users, but this week the majority are for playfish cash users ! i was really looking forward to buying the new mystery boxes, the mirror and the new seed but when i was check petsociety, i found that they were ALL for playfish cash users. im really worried that petsociety will become a game where most things are for playfish cash users and the other users wont get much..
I feel the same way. I hope that Pet Society doesn’t become a playfish cash game.
I don’t get it why there’s another princess week… I mean, it’s supposed to be fairytales, but it’s about princesses anyway. We already had princess theme like two or three months ago… It’s true that fairytale theme was already there half a year ago, mostly Wizard of Oz, but also some other costumes (and it was much better…) And there was also Peter Pan week…
But still, there’s so many beautiful fairytales, and they chose princesses again :/

i am pissed of with pet society. really. they found out that people like the game, and they decided to make money out of it! we waited the whole weak, and the most beautiful item is the frog plushie!! why does everything has to be sold for cash?????? (sorry for my english. Greetings from Greece!)

i agree with more and more cash items rather than coin ones being released lately.. they should at least make one or two of the bundled items available to every user… they tempt us with cute stuff that are unattainable week in week out!! not the end of the world, i know, but i’ve been playing this game for quite a while and i feel so left out!
and i’m sure everyone notices items are getting larger and larger in size.. whereby it takes up like half of your room space… prolly in a bid to encourage more users to purchase the bigger rooms??

notice that the the collaborative item needs only 10 friends/clicks..but for me its better and MORE better because its very beautiful..today is a lucky day for me because i found the rare forest aquarium THREE times and found the Prince Statue, and someone gifted me the red kitchen bundle..:)

I think I am only going to buy the plushie this week… It has been sometime since there is a plushie for sale. For the past few weeks, there weren’t any plushies for sale.
I almost always buy the OWO items, even twice if they are chairs, but this time I am very disappointed …
The ‘ princess and the pea bed’ is a waste of money because the pet just sits and doesn’t sleep; and it doesn’t even reach halfway…
Are they running out of imagination or what’s happening? Is that why they do so many contests lately? They just make some changes to the items and put them back into the stores thinking that we wont be able to realize it…
And the PFC items!!! AYKM??!! =/
I’m not sure what’s going on…I’d rather they make fewer items each week and work harder on making them unique and functional. Right now, there are so many glitches and recycled items that I’m not interested in most of the items.
I agree with the others; I am feeling very disappointed in Pet Society this week. When I saw the items on their blog, I was so upset how coin-users could only get a recycled dress and shoes, while people who use cash are able to get so many original clothes. It’s certainly unfair! I suppose the only good thing about this is that we, the coin-users, doesn’t need to waste so many coins, but I would’ve still wanted some of the clothing that is in the Mystery Box. It does make others feel left out, especially the boys! Other than the Prince outfit that can be obtained from the new Mystery Box, the boys couldn’t get anything to their liking! It’s as if Pet Society, once again, had ignored the fact that boy pets do exist in the Pet Society World.
I know that the Pet Society staff needs to earn at least some money from the game due to their hard work, but isn’t this crossing the line? Instead of making more people buy Cash Coins, they are forcing the other users to quit the game, and eventually make it unpopular. I think that having more people play a game and have it popular is more worthwhile than forcing people to buy coins for a game and therefore making people not play the game anymore.
If Pet Society continues this act, it would only lead to its downfall.
But I do like the fountain, and I am quite relieved that the collaborative item only takes 15 clicks. The frog plushie could also blink, and not to mention its cuteness also gave it a point. I hope Pet Society will let coin users buy more cute and original stuff that are not cash in the future.
Great analysis, Amaya-chan! I agree with all of your points. I used to tell my friends to play Pet Society, but now I wouldn’t recommend the game to anyone right now.

I was crushed to see all the items I wanted are for playfish cash, and I began thinking do you think Pet Society will ultimately become just a cash game? Hopefully not, but by the looks of this weeks items I am skeptical….

Theres a GLITCH right now if you go to the gardening store and click on the gardening tab to the right you can see the tree with the golden apples for a slipt second……kind of cool

pet society is soooo increasing the prices trying to tempt us with cute irresistible things and totally exaggerating on stuff. They make it sound like or look soo cool but its actually such a rip off and you regret buying it instantly. for exmple the bed with theprincess and the pea thing. i thought my pet would climb and go to bed but she only goes up to the first step and then gets off. i am really reallyreally really really angry at pet society. especially after i spent 13,000 on the plane tickets which werent even worth it.
Like you, I’m disappointed that the bed acts like a chair and not a bed.
MisuMisu and I are really disappointing with this week’s items. Im planning to go out and buy a cashcard for once though. I want to see if its worth it.

-We get ONE DRESS that’s just a ripoff of the chic party dress.
-The beds/chairs are recolors, and barely different.
-Everything is bigger. That /use/ to be good, but its encouraging people to to get bigger (cash) rooms.
And its not just this week, the past few weeks are the same. Me (and my friends) have A LOT of money since there’s nothing to spend it on.
If i could, i would probably buy a bit of playfish cash. But i can’t. Im underage and i dont have any cards/bank accounts.
Also, as ridiculous as this sounds, its also unfair for PFC users. The petling fountains are 45 CASH. That’s almost 10$ USD. At that price, i’d rather spend the extra 5 minutes feeding them.
I’m disappointed too. I think you’re right about the bigger items being a strategy for them to get people to buy bigger rooms.
I’m disappointed in this week’s items because it seems that Playfish have been creating less in terms of quality and quantity each week for us coin users. I used to look forward to the weekly updates, but I’m not sure if I will anymore.
The only thing I bought this week was the princess& the pea bed.
It’s a disappointing trend that they seem so disinterested in coin players. I liked the bed too….hope the future updates are better.

After i wrote the other comment i got a little angry and after some research, i found out that you can buy PFC in-game with FaceBook credits.
When you’re on the site, FB sometimes gives you free credits (i got about 25 in total).
After a while, with your credits, you can buy PFC!

I have 25 as well, but once I tried to buy PFC and I needed at least 49 credits or something, so I couldn’t buy anything. Have you actually succeded in buying PFC??

I wish there were more plushies! The frog blinks and it’s super cute~ The fountain is nice but everything except plushies go behind it! and u can’t put anything on its stairs or castle top
The dome is beautiful! but it floats and looks strange- I had to place a simple step below the stairs and a nymph lake on the bottom left in order to cover the gaps b/ the dome and the floor.
I love the frog too! I hope they fix the dome so that it sits on the ground.

The Playfish Staff has been really lame lately. It is very shameful to see such a good game demanding more real money in exchange of virtual goods. Every coin item was lamely made, I agree. I don’t think that the Playfish Staff is working as hard before and I hope that the old Pet Society comes back.
I wish the old Pet Society came back too.
I miss when the items weren’t so “prepackaged” like the items in the red kitchen set. I like to arrange my own rooms, including food and jars in my kitchen, and I miss having individual pieces to move around.
