Pet society is a facebook game developed by Playfish that I’m totally addicted to. I don’t even have a pet in real life, but I have a cyber pet online. All the game involves is visiting your friend’s pets, washing and feeding your pet, decorating your pet’s house and buying it clothes. To earn money, you can make visits, run hurdles and walk into trees. Sounds dull in theory, and the game is really mindless, but I’ve been playing it since August and am still interested in what’s new.
This blog describes my experiences in the game and thoughts on new items and changes.
Thankyou so much for this daily blog. i discovered it about a week ago while googling questions about how the gardens are going to work. I find is soooo helpful thankyou. My pet Bilbo loves to make informed shopping decisions. I read through all the previous posts yesterday and found many answers to questions ive had, since im fairly new at this. The pink cherry bonsai is called the “chic bonsai” in Pet Society. With some luck, you can find one in a gold mystery box. It used to be in the store at one point, but now it’s only available from the gold boxes. Take care!
Speaking of the bonsai, I got it after buying 4 gold mystery boxes. It’s rather big, but I love it anyway

Hey, I’ve been looking at your blog entries for a while now…probably since…the end of April, I guess, and just now figured out how to post comments! I found this in a similar way to Lucyloo, I had some questions about pet society, and when I found this I didn’t get all the answers at first…but then I kept coming back and it seemed to solve all my problems! I have a mac, too! To bokmark a page, simply click bookmarks, then add bookmark. i guess since you posted in july, you already know
this is via safari by the wa, so dont freak if you are using firefox and cant find it! Quick tip though… i went to the apple sstore to have my computer maintenenced and i was told that safari is better for a mac then firefox they said its more natural for the comouter or something, whatever that means

Hi Chris, thanks for your comments! I got the love lava lamp and the rocket lava lamps from the gold mystery boxes. There are some other lava lamps in the stores. The black jacuzzi was only sold for a week and it isn’t in the stores anymore. I don’t have one of those.

Here’s a suggestion for an entry, although there may already be an existing thread for it buried somewhere in the PS forum: how about posting the pictures of each type of house – from the one-room to the ten-room residence? Not everyone has or wants a large neighbourhood of friends, most of whom will never reach the higher levels.

Hi Sunny, sure, I just added a link to your blog. Thanks for adding one to mine too. I played a long time, so I can sell a lot of double items, sometimes I have good luck in the stadium and with mystery boxes. I like gardening for money too. Sometimes I spend too much and go broke. I having bought coins with real money.
About tips for a successful blog, just write about what interests you and your pet and keep at it. Try new things and see what entries get responses. I hope yours will be a success too.
Could you give me some tips on a successful blog? Yours must be one of the most popular Pet Society blogs, and all my past ones were deserted. How can I keep this one from going to waste?

Hi StrawberryShortcake, the trees are very slow at producing fruits/cakes lately. I think it’s best to just keep waiting when you have a tree you like because eventually it will produce something. It’s all variable though, and there is no time line unfortunately.

The camera button is the easiest way. You can also use the prt sc button on your keyboard or you can also get programs to do it, but I don’t know what to recommend.

I think this is one of the best pages I ever found for my questions about pet society, you seem to be such a nice person and you tell things in a cool way, putting your pet Momo and her husband as examples. They are cute.
Im also addicted to this game. Before, I thought it was pointless and boring, and I didnt knew why everyone liked it so much. So one day I finally opened the game and I LOVED IT !!

This is about my 4th time planting a tree seed and hopefully this time it’s a Chestnut Tree! Did you get yours on your 1st try? or did you not know about it then?

When you planted the seed that turned into the Chestnut Tree, at the beginning was it the small green banana looking tree? or was the small leafy tree?

I believe another glitch in the game is that you can’t change the name of you pet!
You know how they put Halloween candy in the trees instead of coins for Halloween, well I hope they do the same for Christmas!
Ex: (Candy canes, chocolates, maybe lolly pops, etc. )
Ooooh, you know what else would be cool? If on Christmas Eve. they have a Pet Santa fly around and gives you a cool present!

I can;t tell you how much I LOVE this blog! I log in every day before signing into pet society so that I know what is new and what to expect. I had one question. WHat do you do with the items that cannot be sold, recycled or gifted? Once Christmas is over I don’t want to keep all those ornaments around and I ave no interest in the robot battery. Do they become sellable or recyclable after some time?

Hi Cindy, if you have a friend with the robot, you can ask to borrow it for a few days to use your battery up and then return the robot to your friend. I think we’re stuck with the rest of the items. If you don’t want to have to scroll through them in your inventory, you can try hiding things like ornaments behind furniture somewhere in your house.
The game sounds dull i mean all we do is buy stuff for this pet and do other activities, i dont get how we play it all day xD – i dont get how its fun to me its weird but i still like it……

I would hide them somewhere in your house behind a piece of furniture. For example, you could hide them behind a cabinet. After I take off my ornaments, I’ll put my tree in my garden for a decoration.

It’s a pine tree. Some trees are really slow, but they eventually all produce fruits (or other items). The pine tree makes pine cones.

How do I make my rooms default to a specific room? the game always defaulted to room 1 when I went back to it and now it is defaulting to room seven. how can I fix this? thanks sorry for posting this in another category. However I wish that people with PFC didn’t get all the really good stuff such as cool fishing baits! Or I wish we could EARN PFC!!! Like in races or walking through the trees! OR instead of getting coins from visiting the people @ the Coffee shop when you wash and brush them, you could ear…n PFC instead! I hope Pet Society will consider this!!! I planted 3 vegetable seeds, i got a carrot, cabbage and a pumpkin. All 3 grew into large veggies. BUT, my pumpkin keeps changing sizes! But it still indicates that it’s “large”!
