Hideeni must have grown tired of his octopus costume because he’s back, and this time he’s dressed as a pineapple! If we click him, then he’ll give out moody fruit plushies to our friends.
So far Momo’s found an Angry Orange Plushie. There are a total of 12 moody fruit plushies to collect.
Momo likes her moody first plushie and can’t wait to get some more.

Here’s an update on Hideeni’s shells. Momo finished her collection and took a picture of all the shells in Hideeni’s Shell Display Case. The display is oversized and sort of tacky, but since Momo bought it, she thought she should at least take one picture of it!

There were lots of updates in Pet Society yesterday. I haven’t had time to play much, so I’ll just post the highlights here!
“New” Labels: After getting a new item, the item will have a “new” label above it and appear at the start of your clothing/inventory chest. This should make it easier to find new mystery items, since the new way of opening them doesn’t show the item names. Newly harvested garden produce also have “new” labels.
The new feature made it a lot easier to sell back all the crummy duplicate items I got after buying a bunch of mystery boxes.
The Free Gift, Share Email” and Collaborative Item icons are combined into an expandable navigation tab. It reduces the clutter on the screen a bit.
Speaking of free gifts, the latest gift is a strawberry cream cake. Hideeni was a bit disappointed that Momo refused to share hers.
The weekly digging item in the “Town Forest” is a Fast Food Meal. What a strange archaeological find!
The new mystery items are out, but Momo hasn’t found any of them! In the gold mystery boxes, there’s a pair of Pink Headphones and an Orange Juice Machine. In the purple mystery boxes, there’s a Pet Chef Picture. Lastly, in the red boxes, there’s a Sauces Set.

Hideeni’s back from his vacation and has returned to Pet Society. He’s now wearing an octopus costume. If we click him, he’ll give seashells to our friends.

Hideeni’s decided to go on vacation, and will not be in town for a while. Momo’s going to miss him. So long Hideeni!
There are two new free gifts available for us to send to our friends, the Strawberry Cone Hat and the Pelican Plushie:
The new weekly item in the Town Forest treasure hunting site is the Gretel Bear Plushie. Momo hopes she’ll find one soon! Edited to add, no one on the Playfish forum has found one, so people are speculating that Pet Society forgot to really release the new bear. It might be best to wait on digging!
Hideeni’s World Cup flags have been updated. Pet Society has removed some of the eliminated teams in order to add five new flags to the collection. The new flags include: Uruguay, Ghana, Slovakia, Japan and Paraguay.
Momo’s found the Ghana flag so far!

Hideeni has a new costume in Pet Society. He’s now dressed as an ultimate World Cup fan. Isn’t he cute?
Hideeni’s latest gifts are World Cup flags. If you click on Hideeni and choose to share his gift, then your friends who play will receive one of 15 flags. As with Hideeni’s other gifts, you can only receive a gift yourself if one of your friend’s finds Hideeni and chooses to share the news by publishing it on their facebook wall. You have to click on a friend’s message to receive the gift.
Hideeni’s new twist is that each country’s flag will only be available as long as the country remains in the competition.
Momo’s collected the German flag so far.

I’ve been trying for weeks to find Momo a rainbow egg by clicking the Hideeni posts from her friends. It was the last egg we needed to complete our Easter egg collection. A couple days ago, I clicked a new posting and got this message with a picture of a rainbow egg that said I already received this egg from a friend that day. Unfortunately, I never did get a rainbow egg, in spite of what the message said. Now, my hopes of ever getting a rainbow egg are lost.
I found it hard to collect all the eggs, since there seems to be a new rule that you can only collect one Hideeni gift per friend per day.
I also have trouble telling which posts I’ve clicked and which I haven’t, although I have very view friends who post Hideeni messages. I can’t imagine how confusing it would be if I had hundreds of friends playing!
How about the rest of you? Did you complete your Easter egg collection?
Today, Hideeni has been sighted in Pet Society dressed as an astronaut. Don’t you love his latest costume? Momo was glad to see him, and decided to ask him to go to prom with her. hee!

If you click on Hideeni and choose to share his gift, then your friends who play will receive one of 12 galaxy gifts. As with Hideeni’s other gifts, you can only receive a gift yourself if one of your friend’s finds Hideeni and chooses to share the news by publishing it on their facebook wall.
Momo’s collected one galaxy gift so far (Ursa Minor), and got a bunch of error messages that I already received the gift from this friend today even though I hadn’t. Lately, you can only collect one gift per friend per day even if your friend finds Hideeni multiple times and posts the news each time.
I hate getting pointless messages like this after clicking on Hideeni messages in my facebook feed. Why do these messages appear if we’re not allowed to collect the items? What a waste of time.
The galaxy gifts cannot be given as gifts. Ursa Minor sells for 9 coins (not sure how much the others sell for yet). If you want to see a picture of all 12 galaxy gifts, a member of the playfish forums posted one here.

Yesterday, Hideeni was sighted around Pet Society dressed up as the Easter Bunny. Momo was surprised to see him as he walked over a frozen pond.
Hideeni’s latest holiday treats are Easter eggs. If you click on Hideeni and choose to share his gift, then your friends who play will receive one of 14 Easter eggs. As with Hideeni’s other gifts, you can only receive one yourself if one of your friend’s finds Hideeni and chooses to share the news by publishing it on their facebook wall.
Momo’s collected six types of Easter eggs so far: red, orange, turquoise, purple, golden and mosaic Easter eggs.
Unfortunately, the Easter eggs cannot be given as gifts. I wish they could because I have two turquoise eggs. The eggs are not edible or interactive. The smaller colored eggs may be sold for 33 coins and recycled for 200 recycle points. The golden and mosaic eggs each sell for 83 coins and can be recycled for 500 recycle points. I’ll update this post with a complete list if I manage to find more eggs.
