Pet Society’s Easter Egg Greenhouse – List of Daily Flowers March 22, 2010

Two of the Pet Society’s Easter Specials are the egg greenhouses. They don’t give away Easter eggs, although they are egg shaped. Each day from March 22nd to 28th you’ll receive new flower. You’ll receive the flower according to your local time (not GMT aka Playfish time). The greenhouses have different colors, but the set of flowers is the same for each greenhouse. Although the note in the store says to click on the greenhouse, I received a notice that I received a flower on my noticeboard.

Hopefully the greenhouses work correctly and don’t have the issues the Valentine’s Day chocolate boxes had!

Did your pet find a surprise?

Go outside and smell the almost spring air in Pet Society (from the inside of your house, click the door in the lower left corner, then click on “visit friends”).  If you bump into the trees, then you’ll find some special surprises.  Hidden in the trees  are four types of Easter eggs: the aquamarine egg decor, pink egg decor, light purple egg decor, and green egg decor. You can collect three of each type of egg yourself, but you can collect more eggs if your friends give them to you. If you want to sell the eggs, they sell for 2 coin apiece, and you can recycle each egg for 18 recycling points.

Momo compared the eggs from this year with the ones from last year and noticed they had the same designs, but different colors.

Which eggs do you think are prettier?

Are you ready for an Easter egg hunt?

Happy St. Patrick’s Day March 17, 2010

Is your pet wearing green today?

Momo’s wearing the new cute green dress from the store with the gold and green shoes. She accessorized with lucky green ribbon that was sold in the stores last year.

Homegrown Pet Society Clover and Shamrock Flowers March 15, 2010

Yesterday the clover seed was added to the Pet Society garden shop as “this week’s special.” It’s just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The seed’s sign asks “Are you lucky enough to find a four-leafed clover?” Most of the seeds grow three-leafed shamrock flowers, but if you’re lucky you may grow four-leafed clovers.

Each seed costs 800 coins.

Momo planted a few seeds yesterday, and today she found a homgrown clover flower (left) and a homegrown shamrock flower (right) in her garden.

Although the seed sells for 800 coins, both types of flowers only sell for 208 coins.  I’d like to grow more of them, but they are so expensive, and they sell for a loss.

The mayor has given all Pet Society players a Haiti poster for sending in contributions for Earthquake relief in Haiti.

The new Pet Society items have also been added in the stores. There are lots of new items for St. Patrick’s Day.

There’s also a pink greenhouse and a large pink greenhouse.

In the luxury shop,  “this week’s specials” are golden harp, emerald green cushioned couch, and golden pot.

There are Leprechaun and Leprechaun’s wife plushies and a green shamrock cushion.

Hopping Hideeni’s Hiding Eggs in Pet Society March 14, 2010

Yesterday, Hideeni was sighted around Pet Society dressed up as the Easter Bunny.  Momo was surprised to see him as he walked over a frozen pond.

Hideeni’s latest holiday treats are Easter eggs. If you click on Hideeni and choose to share his gift, then your friends who play will receive one of 14 Easter eggs. As with Hideeni’s other gifts, you can only receive one yourself if one of your friend’s finds Hideeni and chooses to share the news by publishing it on their facebook wall.

Momo’s collected six types of Easter eggs so far: red, orange, turquoise, purple, golden and mosaic Easter eggs.

Unfortunately, the Easter eggs cannot be given as gifts.  I wish they could because I have two turquoise eggs. The eggs are not edible or interactive. The smaller colored eggs may be sold for 33 coins and recycled for 200 recycle points. The golden and mosaic eggs each sell for 83 coins and can be recycled for 500 recycle points.  I’ll update this post with a complete list if I manage to find more eggs.

Have you collected any of Hideeni’s Easter eggs?  If so, which eggs are your favorites? Are you going to try collecting all 14 Easter eggs?  What do you think of Hideeni’s latest costume?  Is it his best yet?

Updated March 25th to add that I’ve collected a bunch of eggs, but I’m still missing the rainbow and pink eggs.

Pet Society St. Valentine’s Day Chocolate Boxes February 8, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Pet Society Girl @ 12:41 am

Two chocolate boxes are available in the food and furniture shops.  If you buy one of the chocolate boxes, then you’ll receive a sweet chocolate gift for the next 14 days starting on Feb. 8th (Day 1) and ending on Feb. 20th (Day 14).  Like the Christmas countdown/Advent calendars released last December, the Valentine chocolates appear at midnight, according to your local time zone.  Make sure the box is in one of your rooms and not in your inventory. The Valentine chocolates are edible!  If you purchase more than one chocolate box, then you will receive one gift per day from each chocolate box (ex. if you have two chocolate boxes, you’ll receive two chocolates per day).  Regardless of what type of box you get, you will receive the same set of chocolates. For instance, the chocolate from both boxes on day 1 is the “sweetest love” chocolate. The chocolates sell for 5 coins each, and can be recycled for 32 eco points each.  They can also be gifted to your friends.

I’ll update this list with the Valentine chocolates as I receive them.

Updated Feb. 9th to add: Try sending the box back and forth between friends.  Each time one of you opens it, you’ll receive another chocolate!
Updated Feb. 12th to add: Looks like Playfish stopped the endless chocolate supply. Lame.  Sometimes I think they read my blog to find ways to ruin my fun.
